We’ve set up an urban oasis that takes Austin’s eco-, artsy and counter-culture weirdness to the healthiest extreme. Tilted House is where you down-size to get your head, your heart, and body right. Plus TWO STUDIOS! When you’re living here you feel like the house is a vessel like a space-ship or maybe a submarine, and you are continually awakened to life’s presence, not lulled into consumer-convenient-stupor. You’re inside and outside to grow food, preserve and cook it. You’re up and down to explore and rest. You’re connected to a neighborhood that is pulsing with change and you’re a player in the symphony. The connection to nature and architecture opens you to life’s possibilities – like you could down-size more, you could grow more of your own food, and you could make new adventures (which is the only reason we’re leaving it to you!) There are 2 auxiliary buildings, vegetable gardens, a chicken coop plus chickens that complete this super cool urban farm.
